Update on the Flood

Many of you will be aware that the floods of January 1st left our course and clubhouse devastated. The resulting financial costs required to recover the course and facilities will be substantial. The office and equipment have been totally destroyed. The locker rooms have been severely damaged. The bar area and furniture are no longer fit for purpose and almost all of the greenkeeper's equipment is deemed unusable.

Our challenge now is to restore the club to its former glory, not only for our members but also to re-establish its role in our local community. For this we will need considerable financial support and we have plans in place to raise funds from multiple sources.

We would like to thank all those organisations and individuals who have supported us with their custom over the years. These include local Business Networking groups, Invest in Play, The Christie and local NHS departments. We have also hosted countless memorable Wedding Celebrations and other family events.
